Muzaffarnagar riots: a meeting after Friday prayers
Muzaffarnagar: The
prelude to the riots that have ripped through Muzaffarnagar in western
Uttar Pradesh killing 38 people unfolded in the village of Kawal, where
in the last week of August, two Jat brothers killed a Muslim boy who was
stalking their sister. Less than an hour later, they were lynched to
death.
To check the tide of communal tension, local officials banned public meetings. But just three days later, on a Friday, politicians extinguished any chance of a return to normal. After Friday prayers, a meeting was called by religious leaders and politicians in Muzaffarnagar, around 125 kilometres north east of Delhi.
With an audience of about 2,000 people, most of them Muslims, local leaders from the Congress and Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party or BSP took the stage.
When asked why they didn't intervene to have the meeting cancelled, local officials claimed they had been misled.
Kaushal Raj, the District Magistrate of Muzaffarnagar, said that religious leaders had said the meeting would focus on collecting a petition demanding justice in the Kawal case, but that the gathering was then hijacked by the politicians - Qader Rana and Jameel Ahmed of the BSP, and Saeed-uz-zaman of the Congress.
All three feature now in an FIR or police case on charges that include inciting communal tension. While Mr Rana, who represents Muzaffarnagar in Parliament was not available for comment, his colleague said that the rally had been sanctioned by local officials. Saeed-uz-zaman's son said the politicians had done no wrong, legally or morally.
The opposition BJP, accused of instigating violence this weekend at a gathering of thousands of Hindu farmers, says that at the Friday session, the District Magistrate was on stage. Kaushal Raj told NDTV, he was blackmailed by the politicians who said that if he did not attend the meeting, they would march to a communally sensitive part of the city.
The BJP also says that two leaders from the ruling Samajwadi Party were present at the gathering, but have not been featured in police cases.
On Saturday evening, at a mahapanchayat, BJP leaders from the area addressed thousands of farmers with allegedly incendiary speeches, charges they have denied. On their way home, farmers were attacked and killed. Since then, 36 people have died.

8 year old Muslim bride dies of sexual injuries
An eight-year-old Yemeni girl has died of internal sexual injuries after spending her wedding night with a husband five times her age.
The girl, identified as Rawan, is believed to have suffered tearing of her genitals and a uterine rupture, Kuwaiti daily newspaper Al Watan reports.
It says Kuwaiti activists have called for action against the man, who is 40, as well as the girl’s family for allowing the marriage.
The girl died in the tribal area of Hardh in northwestern Yemen, which borders Saudi Arabia.
Gulf News quotes blogger Angry Man as posting the husband is “an animal who deserved to be punished severely for his crime.”
“All those who supported such a crime should also be punished,” he added.
Al Bawaba reports over a quarter of young girls in Yemen are married before the age of 15.
It adds the country passed a law in February 2009 setting the minimum age of marriage at 17, but that it was repealed after conservative lawmakers declared it “un-Islamic”.
In 2010 a 13-year-old Yemeni girl who was forced into an arranged marriage died five days after her wedding when she suffered an internal rupture, a local human rights organisation said.
Ilham Mahdi al Assi died in Yemen's Hajja province, the Shaqaeq Arab Forum for Human Rights told the AFP in a statement quoting a medical report.
According to a World Vision study released in March, more child brides are being led into arranged marriages due to an increase in global poverty and crises.
Parents who live in fear of natural disasters, political instability and financial ruin look to arranged marriages as a way to save their struggling families.
Every day, 39,000 girls younger than 18 will marry, according to the World Health Organisation.

Brothers-in-law mercilessly gangrape UP woman with consent of panchayat
In a shocking incident, a 24-year-old woman has been brutally gangraped
and forced out of the home by her in-laws with the consent of a village
panchayat in Uttar Pradesh.
The incident, which happened in Kamheda village of Muzaffarnagar, came to the fore when the victim mustered up the courage to file a police complaint against the accused on July 27.
The village panchayat reportedly forced the victim to marry Mohammad Shadab after her brother Mohammad Azeem had eloped with Shadab's sister Gulsida Bano on February 15. Azeem works as a civil contractor in Delhi.
Justification
The panchayat later justified the July 20 incident, saying "an eye for eye is the actual justice". The rapists - Shadab's family members - declared that it was their revenge.
A panchayat, which was convened around 10 days after Azeem eloped with Gulsida, demanded that the victim marry Shadab.
Besides this, it also asked her parents to pay Rs.75,000 as compensation to Gulsida's parents.
"I agreed to the panchayat's decision because I knew that there would be bloodbath in the village if I refused to marry him," the victim told police.
"My brothers-in-law Irshad and Shahzad raped me mercilessly the same day I married Shadab. It became a routine. My father-in-law claimed that he had agreed to my marriage since he wanted to take revenge this way. On March 26, they registered a case against my brother and police traced him and Gulsida. They were released after Gulsida confessed before the magistrate that she married him willingly," the victim alleged in her complaint.
The victim somehow managed to escape their clutches on July 21 early morning and filed a complaint with Muzaffarnagar police on July 27.
Senior superintendent of police Manzil Saini said: "The victim has met me. A case has been registered under Section 376 of the IPC. The accused would be arrested soon," said Saini.
The victim's elder brother alleged that the decision that led to the incident was taken under the active supervision of the panchayat.
"Police gave time to the accused to flee the village. The husband of the panchayat chief was also present when the fate of my sister was decided. He was very vocal and wanted the harshest punishment for us," he said.
Mohammad Imran - panchayat head Mehrit Jahan's husband - confirmed the decision of the panchayat to Mail Today. Imran claimed he had asked them to reach an amicable solution. "(But) she has approached the police. Now, I don't have anything to say."

Girl, school teacher sexually assaulted by Muslims in UP
LUCKNOW: A school teacher was sexually assaulted in Amroha and a girl was raped in Muzaffarnagar in separate incidents reported from different parts of Uttar Pradesh during the past 24 hours on Friday evening.
In Amroha, the incident took place on Thursday, when a teacher left her house in Saidangali police circle of the district for BL Public Junior High School in Tehpa village under Naksha police station of nearby Sambhal district for her routine duty, when she was intercepted by two locals. The victim was being accompanied by a fellow teacher in the same school, who too was held hostage by the accused, but somehow managed to escape. However by the time she could return with help, the miscreants had fled the scene leaving the victim in the farm fields. The victim had identified the accused as local youths Ghalib and Feroz (both Muslim). The incident took place near Madli Samastipur village under the Saidangali police station of Amroha and the accused have been arrested and sent to jail.

Khera under Paguna police station of Muzaffarnagar. A resident of the
same village, the victim was on her way to the farm fields to relieve
herself when the incident took place.
The girl has identified the accused as Shauqueen and Rahil (both muslim) - both residents of Jogiya Khera village itself. Police are investigating the case and the victim was sent for medical examination to establish sexual assault. Efforts are on to trace and arrest the accused.

Muslim MLA Shahnawaz Rana accused of rape
UP chief minister and BSP supremo Mayawati has suspended her party MLA Shahnawaz Rana (muslim) whose aides have been arrested by the police for kidnapping two girls and trying to rape them in Muzaffarnagar. She has also directed special task force of the state police to probe into the matter. Rana has several criminal cases pending against him in police record.
According to UP home secretary Fateh Bahadur Singh, the girls hailed from Delhi and were on their way home after spending some time in the hill station of Mussoorie in Uttarakhand. The culprits intercepted vehicle in which the girls were travelling with their cousins on Tuesday night on the busy national highway and kidnapped them on gun point.
The victims were forced to stop their vehicle near a petrol pump. Later, the accused were joined by a few other men, who were in an SUV fitted with red beacon. They thrashed the two cousins of the girls. They girls were kidnapped and taken to a secluded spot. One of victims, however, managed to call the police for her mobile phone.
The police has registered a case of kidnapping, molestation and attempted rape against MLA's aides. Two of them, - Dilshad Mahmood and Ragib, have been arrested. The vehicle used in the crime has also been recovered. The police has also found the firearm used in the crime. Police also raided MLA's house in Bijnore and other places to arrest the accused.
Narendra Kumar Khokhar and Jarar Husain, the two bodyguards provided to MLA's wife Intikhab Rana have also been arrested and put under suspension. The two body guards were also named in the complaint. The MLA's wife is jila panchayat chairman, Muzaffarnagar.
Mayawati has issued a warning to all party leaders that any act of violating law will not be tolerated no matter who so ever he/she is. Mayawati has taken action against over 12 party leaders for their alleged involvement in criminal activities since 2007 when she came to power. However, despite that, BSP leaders continue to figure in the news for the wrong reasons.

Irate people blocked the Delhi-Pauri highway for about an hour in the town today, they said, .

"The main accused, Salman (a muslim) has been arrested while four of his associates are absconding," police said, adding that the search was on to nab the absconding youths.
Yesterday, the girl was forcibly taken to a nearby jungle by the five youths while she was going to her school where she was gangraped by them.
Later the victim was found in the fields in the semi naked state.

A Class IX student was allegedly raped by a youth at Lilon village in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli district, police said in Muzzafarnagar on Saturday.
On Friday, the 13-year-old girl was intercepted by the accused when she was on her way to school. The youth Dilshad (a Muslim) falsely told the girl that her father is ill, took her to a nearby house where he raped her, Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Kumar told reporters.
The girl has been sent for medical examination, he said, adding that a case has been registered against the absconding accused.
Irate people gheraoed the police station in protest against the incident, he added.
Meanwhile, a minor girl was gang raped in Asmoli area in Uttar Pradesh's Sanbhal allegedly by three youths, police said today. The incident took place on Aug 13 when the 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by Alim, Kayyum and Tabarak (both muslim) of the same village, they said.
The FIR of the incident was registered last night by family members of the victim. No arrests have so far been made in this connection.

Muzaffarnagar – Where Riots Turned into Pathology From Anatomy
A dozen daily wage farm workers and simple village folk were travelling in a tractor as usual from Mod Khurd village to Munjhera in the hope that they could get a better deal for their labor next day. At the entrance to Munjhera is a mosque on the roadside which everyone has to pass through to enter the village. Hiding within the mosque were some 50-60 heavily armed men waiting in darkness to pounce upon any ‘Kafirs‘ who were unlucky enough to pass through on that fateful Friday evening.
At the outskirts of the village, the driver and the leader of the farm workers realized that there was something really horrifying about the eerie silence in this minority dominated village, but he was too late. As the tractor ambled across the mosque road, it was met with scores of flying stones, which took them by surprise. This stone pelting continued for some time, even as the men tried to find cover in the trolley. Some industrious folk managed to jump ship and escape into the wilderness, but others weren’t so lucky.
The mob from the mosque then surrounded the tractor and pulled down some 6 men and threw them on the roadside. What happened over the next 30 minutes is too graphic to print – “it was the worst nightmare one could ever have” as per one of the survivors who is grievously injured and may not live long. The farm workers were first beaten up mercilessly and were then attacked with sharp weapons by a gang of 50 odd “mushtandey“. Finally, they were shot at pointblank range, so that they had no chance of surviving.
Meanwhile, those who had escaped the stone pelting reached the local police station and complained about the attack, but to their utter frustration, the police refused to budge from their seats. Add to this, the growing reach of the global Ummah philosophy combined with the fanaticism angle of “Islam Katre mein hai” and you have a potent mixture for disaster. In this concoction, when you add a large haul of “sophisticated arms, like hand grenades and AK 47s” smuggled from the Nepal border, you get a deadly syrup of violent riots.

There have been rumours that a powerful minister of the region belonging to the minority community is hand-in-glove with this whole exercise of arming a community to the teeth. In fact, quite a few vehicles have been raided by the police with large quantities of illegal weapons, but the state administration has adopted a “blind eye” policy towards this whole phenomenon. Finally, on Sunday, when the army conducted flag marches in various villages, some of the villagers actually fired back at the army, which eventually led to army ceasing a large haul of illegal arms.
When the riots began, the Jats of western UP did not know what hit them. Usually the farming community of western UP is highly organized and has a strongly militant outlook to any sort of perceived injustice, but they were totally underprepared to face this systematic attack. Jats and Muslims have had a longstanding alliance in this region, so it came as a big surprise to many of them that the idea of anti-Kafirism had entered into Western UP with such violence. The first few days were a complete surprise for the Jats as they faced these relentless attacks by organized mobs with unheard of weapons.
Four days after the riots began, on the 31st of August, the Jats first called a Panchayat at Jaansaath Tehsil, but even after trying to organize themselves, they were hopelessly outmaneuvered. It was only after Narendra Tikait and Rakesh Tikait – both sons of the legendary farmer leader, Mahendra Singh Tikait – entered the scene that the fight back began in earnest. This is where the politics of UP underwent a radical shift in the span of just a fortnight.
First, BSP MP Kadir Rana, Congress leader Saiduzzaman and Samajwadi Party leader Rashid Siddiqui made a highly charged communal speech at Khaalapur on the 30th of August, which was attended by more than 15 thousand people, despite of prohibitory orders under section 144. Then the Mahapanchayat of 7th September was attended by Hukum Singh, Sangeet Som and Suresh Rana of BJP, former Congress MP Harinder Malik and the Tikait brothers of the BKU. This is the familiar pattern of the early 90′s when Muslim and Hindu leaders cutting across political parties joined forces to fight their battles. Thus Uttar Pradesh now stands polarized in totality, right from the villages up to the netas.
It is in this polarized state that the vultures landed 10 days after the riots started. It is natural for the vultures to feed on the dead and thus began a process of selective feeding based on their favored ideological positioning. The same Dilli News Media which was almost totally absent for 10 days when the violence was one-sided, went to Muzaffarnagar to create tales of minority victimhood. On Monday, suddenly our television screens were filled with skullcaps. Then Dilli media’s favorite whipping boy was brought out into open. Thus Muzaffarnagar riots found salvation in Amit Shah’s visit to Ayodhya and Narendra Modi’s ability to “polarize” the voters.
This is the underlying pathology of the Muzaffarnagar riots, wherein reality is twisted by the media vultures to suit their own ideological convenience. Instead of blaming the real culprit, Samajwadi Party government of Uttar Pradesh, MSM blames every known adversary of Dilli-news media – Social Media, Modi, BJP, Amit Shah etc. In the real world, communal fire is spreading from the cities to villages, but media is busy peddling victimhood.

Finally, they were shot at pointblank range, so that they had no chance of surviving.

Muzaffarnagar riots began with a girl's harassment
A Hindu girl was being harassed by a Muslim boy in the village of Kawal, just
10 km from Muzaffarnagar. Lazy Indian police refused to file a complaint and Two Jat boys reacted to it taking the matter into their own hands and in a fight that Muslim boy got killed (It is not clear whether that boy was killed. Some say he was killed and the others say he was seriously injured). When those two Jatt boys were trying to run away from the scene they
were caught by a Muslim mob and thrashed to death.
According to the local police superintendent, a resident of Malakpura village was told by his sister that a boy was harrasing her. Enraged at this, he, along with a friend, attacked the alleged with a knife and later shot him. As the two tried to flee the crime scene, they were overpowered by the villagers and were beaten to death

Now the thing is that two men of a particular community kill a sex offender. And in turn they are lynched by a mob of the other community, who think defending a woman is worthy of being killed by a mob.
A Muslim Youth molested a Hindu girl. The police refused to register the girl's complaint. The girl's brothers then punished the molester Muslim youth who was responsible, themselves. A mob of Muslims then killed the two brothers who had acted to save their sister's honour.
This was not the first time a girl was harassed by Muslims in the past many incidents of rapes by Muslims have been recorded in those areas making the matter worse.

If there was money to be got as well as a husband for their daughters, what difference did it make if the girls were only 17, 20 and 19'
The wedding was held sometime at July-end. Last Thursday, the girls filed a complaint with police that the sheikh had disappeared, promises and all.
The trio had been among 10 girls paraded in front of the sheikh in the house of one Mumtaz Begum, who, along with accomplices Toufiq and Mansoor, had convinced them they would never go hungry again if they agreed to the marriage.
The sheikh tied the knot the same day in a simple no-frills ceremony, presided over by one Mansoor Ali. There were no witnesses at the wedding.
“The Arab married all three of us within 10 minutes of one another. All three of us spent several days with him at a city lodge,” Afreen said.
Last Monday, the sheikh told the girls to go home and come back after two days. When the girls went back on Wednesday, he was gone.
Panicky, they went to Mumtaz’s house. It was locked. So they decided to go to the police.
A police raid the same day on Mumtaz’s house came a cropper. Yesterday, however, the police managed to track the touts at the fake moulvi Mansoor Ali’s house. All four were arrested.
Deputy police commissioner (west zone) Shandilya said the marriage modus operandi was so “stereotyped” that it was amazing how people could fall into the trap over and over again.
“It has become so common we don’t know how people in the old city fall prey to it again and again,” he said.

Indian clerics tell Muslim girls not to post 'selfies' on Facebook
Clerics in India have denounced "Facebook selfies" as un-Islamic and forbidden Muslim girls from posting pictures of themselves on social networks.
Two leading helplines for young Muslims seeking guidance have warned teenagers that in Islam the only men who should see their faces are close relatives and their husbands.
Their edict will be difficult to enforce within India's growing ranks of middle class Muslims among whom social networking is as popular as it is in the West.
Sunni and Shia clerics have warned them, however, that true relationships and friendships cannot be made over the internet and that it is wrong for girls to project their charms online.

"Uploading pictures on Facebook or other social networking sites should be avoided. As per the Islamic traditions showing your face to unknown and unrelated men is prohibited. Moreover, these pictures can be misused by any person. Social networking sites should be used for better things than displaying ones physical beauty," he said.
Mufti Abul Irfan Naimul Halim Firagni Mahli, a leading Sunni figure who runs a popular Islamic helpline, told the Press Trust of India that while it was permissible for Muslims to use social network sites, like Facebook and Twitter, for business, it was forbidden to seek relationships on them.
"You can't see someone's face on Facebook and decide that you want to be friends or look love in real life. Virtual relationships are not profitable. If one is on Facebook for business purposes or for constructive purposes, then the account is justifiable," he said.
More than half the 1000 calls he fields per month are from callers seeking moral advice on using the web, he said.
Another cleric, Maulana Saif Abbas Naqvi, said posting photographs on Facebook was simply "haram" - forbidden.
"We are liberal. We are not Taliban-minded. When youngsters ask us if they can have a Facebook or Twitter profile, we allow that. But the Shariah does not allow women to post pictures, he said.
Two leading helplines for young Muslims seeking guidance have warned teenagers that in Islam the only men who should see their faces are close relatives and their husbands.
Their edict will be difficult to enforce within India's growing ranks of middle class Muslims among whom social networking is as popular as it is in the West.
Sunni and Shia clerics have warned them, however, that true relationships and friendships cannot be made over the internet and that it is wrong for girls to project their charms online.

Muhammad : Majority of people in Hell are Women

its dwellers were women who were ungrateful." It was asked, "Do they
disbelieve in Allah?" (or are they ungrateful to Allah?) He replied,
"They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the
favors and the good (charitable deeds) done to them. If you have
always been good (benevolent) to one of them and then she sees
something in you (not of her liking), she will say, 'I have never

Ibn Abbas reported that Allah's Messenger said:
I had a chance to look into the Paradise and I
found that majority of the people was poor and I looked into the Fire
and there I found the majority constituted by women.
The Prophet said, "O women folk! You should give charity and be diligent in seeking Allah's forgiveness because I have seen (i.e., on the Night of the Ascension to the highest heavens) that dwellers of the Hell are women." A woman amongst them said: "Why is it that the majority of the dwellers of Hell are women?" The Prophet replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. In spite of your lacking in wisdom and failing in religion, you are depriving the wisest of men of their intelligence." Upon this the woman asked: "What is the deficiency in our wisdom and in our religion?" He replied, "Your lack of wisdom can be well judged from the fact that the evidence of two women is equal to that one man. You do not offer Salat (prayer) for some days and you do not fast (the whole of) Ramadan sometimes, it is a deficiency in religion."

Once Allah's Messenger went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) o `Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Messenger ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Messenger ! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."

Salwa al Mutairi argued buying a sex-slave would protect decent, devout and 'virile' Kuwaiti men from adultery because buying an imported sex partner would be tantamount to marriage.
And she even had an idea of where to 'purchase' these sex-salves - browsing through female prisoners of war in other countries.
The political activist and TV host even suggested that it would be a better life for women in warring countries as the might die of starvation.
Mutairi claimed: 'There was no shame in it and it is not haram' (forbidden) under Islamic Sharia law.'
She gave the example of Haroun al-Rashid, an 8th century Muslim leader who ruled over an area covered by modern-day Iran, Iraq and Syria and was rumoured to have 2,000 concubines.
Mutairi recommended that offices could be opened to run the sex trade in the same way that recruitment agencies provide housemaids.
She suggested shopping for prisoners of war so as to protect Kuwaiti men from being tempted to commit adultery or being seduced by other women's beauty.
'For example, in the Chechnyan war, surely there are female Russian captives,' she said.
'So go and buy those and sell them here in Kuwait. Better than to have our men engage in forbidden sexual relations.'
Her unbelievable argument for her plan was that ‘captives’ might 'just die of hunger over there'.
She insisted, 'I don’t see any problem in this, no problem at all'.
In an attempt to consider the woman's feelings in the arrangement, Mutari conceded that the enslaved women, however, should be at least 15.
Mutairi said free women must be married with a contract but with concubines 'the man just buys her and that’s it. That’s enough to serve as marriage.'
Her remarks, made in a video posted on YouTube last month and carried by newspapers in the Gulf states in recent days, have sparked outrage in cyber-space from fellow Kuwaitis and others in the wider region.
'Wonder how Salwa al Mutairi would’ve felt if during the occupation (of Kuwait) by Iraqi forces, she was sold as ‘war booty’ as she advocates for Chechen women,' tweeted Mona Eltahawy.
Another tweeter, Shireen Qudosi, told Mutairi 'you’re a disgrace to women everywhere'.
For Muna Khan, an editor at the Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television station, the 'icing on the cake' of Mutairi’s 'preposterous views' was her assertion that her suggestions do not conflict with the tenets of Islam.
Mutairi said that during a recent visit to Mecca, she asked Saudi muftis – Muslim religious scholars – what the Islamic ruling was on owning sex slaves. They are said to have told her that it is not haram.
The ruling was confirmed by 'specialized people of the faith' in Kuwait, she claimed.
'They said, that’s right, the only solution for a decent man who has the means, who is overpowered by desire and who does not want to commit fornication, is to acquire jawari.' Jawari is the plural of the Arabic term jariya, meaning 'concubine' or 'sex slave'.
One Saudi mufti supposedly told Mutairi: 'The context must be that of a Muslim nation conquering a non-Muslim nation, so these jawari have to be prisoners of war.'
Concubines, she argued, would suit Muslim men who fear being 'seduced or tempted into immoral behaviour by the beauty of their female servants'.

There is not doubt that all this is allowed in Islam.
For example The Arab Slave Trade http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_slave_trade. When Muslims armies used to defeat the enemies they used to capture enemy women and men and take them as slaves. Many of the slaves were sold for money.
Islam neither ignores nor condemns slavery. In fact, a large part of the Sharia is dedicated to the practice.
Muslims are encouraged to live in the way of Muhammad, who was a slave owner and trader. He captured slaves in battle. He had sex with his slaves. And he instructed his men to do the same. The Qur'an actually devotes more verses to making sure that Muslim men know they can keep women as sex slaves than it does to telling them to pray five times a day.
Qur'an (33:50) - "O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those (slaves) whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee" This is one of several personal-sounding verses "from Allah" narrated by Muhammad - in this case allowing himself a virtually unlimited supply of sex partners. Others are restrained to four wives, but may also have sex with any number of slaves, as the following verse make clear:
Qur'an (23:5-6) - "..who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess..." This verse permits the slave-owner to have sex with his slaves. See also Qur'an (70:29-30).
Qur'an (4:24) - "And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess." Even sex with married slaves is permissible.
Qur'an (8:69) - "But (now) enjoy what ye took in war, lawful and good" A reference to war booty, of which slaves were a part. The Muslim slave master may enjoy his "catch" because (according to verse 71) "Allah gave you mastery over them."
Qur'an (24:32) - "And marry those among you who are single and those who are fit among your male slaves and your female slaves..." Breeding slaves based on fitness.
Qur'an (2:178) - "O ye who believe! Retaliation is prescribed for you in the matter of the murdered; the freeman for the freeman, and the slave for the slave, and the female for the female." The message of this verse, which prescribes the rules of retaliation for murder, is that all humans are not created equal. The human value of a slave is less than that of a free person (and a woman's worth is also distinguished from that of a man's).
Qur'an (16:75) - "Allah sets forth the Parable (of two men: one) a slave under the dominion of another; He has no power of any sort; and (the other) a man on whom We have bestowed goodly favours from Ourselves, and he spends thereof (freely), privately and publicly: are the two equal? (By no means;) praise be to Allah." Yet another confirmation that the slave is is not equal to the master. In this case it is plain that the slave owes his status to Allah's will. (According to 16:71, the owner should be careful about insulting Allah by bestowing Allah's gifts on slaves - those whom the god of Islam has not favored).
Bukhari (80:753) - "The Prophet said, 'The freed slave belongs to the people who have freed him.'"
Bukhari (52:255) - The slave who accepts Islam and continues serving his Muslim master will receive a double reward in heaven.
Bukhari (41.598) - Slaves are property. They cannot be freed if an owner has outstanding debt, but can be used to pay off the debt.
Bukhari (62:137) - An account of women taken as slaves in battle by Muhammad's men after their husbands and fathers were killed. The woman were raped with Muhammad's approval.
Bukhari (34:432) - Another account of females taken captive and raped with Muhammad's approval. In this case it is evident that the Muslims intend on selling the women after raping them because they are concerned about devaluing their price by impregnating them. Muhammad is asked about coitus interruptus.
Bukhari (47.765) - A woman is rebuked by Muhammad for freeing a slave girl. The prophet tells her that she would have gotten a greater heavenly reward by giving her to a relative (as a slave).
Bukhari (34:351) - Muhammad sells a slave for money. He was thus a slave trader.
Bukhari (72:734) - Some contemporary Muslims in the West, where slavery is believed to be a horrible crime, are reluctant to believe that Muhammad owned slaves. This is just one of many places in the Hadith where a reference is made to a human being owned by Muhammad. In this case, the slave is of African descent.
Muslim 3901 - Muhammad trades away two black slaves for one Muslim slave.
Muslim 4112 - A man freed six slaves on the event of his death, but Muhammad reversed the emancipation and kept four in slavery to himself. He cast lots to determine which two to free.
Bukhari (47:743) - Muhammad's own pulpit - from which he preached Islam - was built with slave labor on his command.
Bukhari (59:637) - "The Prophet sent Ali to Khalid to bring the Khumus (of the booty) and I hated Ali, and Ali had taken a bath (after a sexual act with a slave-girl from the Khumus). I said to Khalid, 'Don't you see this (i.e. Ali)?' When we reached the Prophet I mentioned that to him. He said, 'O Buraida! Do you hate Ali?' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Do you hate him, for he deserves more than that from the Khumlus.'" Muhammad approved of his men having sex with slaves, as this episode involving his son-in-law, Ali, clearly proves. This hadith refutes the modern apologists who pretend that slaves were really "wives," since Muhammad had forbidden Ali from marrying another woman as long as Fatima (his favorite daughter) was living.
Abu Dawud (2150) - "The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives. Some of the Companions of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Qur’anic verse: (Qur'an 4:24) 'And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hands possess.'" This is the background for verse 4:24 of the Qur'an. Not only does Allah grant permission for women to be captured and raped, but allows it to even be done in front of their husbands. Abu Dawud 1814 - "...[Abu Bakr] He then began to beat [his slave] him while the Apostle of Allah (pbuh) was smiling and saying: Look at this man who is in the sacred state (putting on ihram), what is he doing?" The future first caliph of Islam is beating his slave for losing a camel while Muhammad looks on in apparent amusement.
Ibn Ishaq (734) - A slave girl is given a "violent beating" by Ali in the presence of Muhammad, who does nothing about it.
Abu Dawud 38:4458 - Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib: “A slave-girl belonging to the house of the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) committed fornication. He (the Prophet) said: Rush up, Ali, and inflict the prescribed punishment on her. I then hurried up, and saw that blood was flowing from her, and did not stop. So I came to him and he said: Have you finished inflicting (punishment on her)? I said: I went to her while her blood was flowing. He said: Leave her alone till her bleeding stops; then inflict the prescribed punishment on her. And inflict the prescribed punishment on those whom your right hands possess (i.e. slaves)”. A slave girl is ordered by Muhammad to be beaten until she bleeds, and then beaten again after the bleeding stops. He indicates that this is prescribed treatment for slaves ("those whom your right hand possesses").
Ibn Ishaq (693) - "Then the apostle sent Sa-d b. Zayd al-Ansari, brother of Abdu'l-Ashal with some of the captive women of Banu Qurayza to Najd and he sold them for horses and weapons." Muhammad trades away women captured from the Banu Qurayza tribe to non-Muslim slave traders for property. (Their men had been executed after surrendering peacefully without a fight).
Umdat al-Salik (Reliance of the Traveller) (o9.13) - According to Sharia, when a child or woman is taken captive by Muslims, they become slaves by the mere fact of their capture. A captured woman's previous marriage is immediately annulled.

Hindu Women Dead & Many Hindus Injured by Muslim Mobs
On Friday July 26, 2013, Many Hindus were injured and 2 people were killed, including a Hindu women who died when Muslim mobs rioted on late Friday. Friday is the day that Muslims hold congregational prayer called Jumu’ah, usually preceded by sermons.
The violent clashes occurred in the Nagla Mal area of Meerut, a city within the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP, and is a few hours away from the capital New Delhi. It has been reported that the violence began when groups of local Muslims were upset that a Hindu temple was playing Hindu devotional songs (bhajans) and forced the loudspeaker to be shutoff while beating a few Hindu men in the temple. Police tried to control the violent mob and is looking for the rioters involved. The governing party of Uttar Pradesh during these riots is the Samajwadi party.
Religious violence and riots are not new to Uttar Pradesh andIndia during the holy Islamic month of Ramadan as it is a sensitive month for many in the Muslim community . In the past few years there have been similar cases where Muslim mobs have vandalized Hindu temples and injured Hindus due to hearing Hindu religious songs on route to a Mosque or if a religious procession is passing a Hindu temple that is playing music.
A few years prior, a major clash in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh took place between Hindus and Muslims. The rioting started on night of 5 April when according to some people, members of the Muslim community removed the decorations on a Hindu temple (it was the Hindu festival of Ram Navami) while another version as reported by some media suggests that riots started after some Muslims objected to the overnight celebration of Ram Navami.

Muslim man chops off her wife's fingers to stop her from studying
A jealous husband is facing life in prison after chopping off his wife's fingers because she began studying for a degree without his permission.
Rafiqul Islam, 30, blindfolded his wife Hawa Akhter, 21, and taped her mouth, telling her he was going to give her a surprise present.
Instead he made her hold out her hand and cut off all five fingers. One of his relatives then threw Ms Akhter's fingers in the dustbin to ensure doctors could not reattach them.
Mr Islam, who is a migrant worker in the United Arab Emirates, had warned his wife there would 'severe consequences' if she did not give up her studies.
'After he came back to Bangladesh, he wanted to have a discussion with me,' Ms Akhter told The Times.
'Suddenly, he blindfolded me and tied my hand. He also taped my mouth saying that he would give me some surprise gifts. But, instead he cut off my fingers.'
Mr Islam, who is a migrant worker in the United Arab Emirates, had warned his wife there would 'severe consequences' if she did not give up her studies.

Human rights groups are demanding life imprisonment.
'He was enraged. He was jealous because while he only had a grade eight standard education, she was off to college to pursue higher studies,' said Mr Saluddin.
Ms Akhter says she is learning to write with her left hand and is determined to resume her studies. She is now back at her parent's house.
The attack is the latest in a series of acts targeting educated women in the Muslim-majority company.
In June, an unemployed man gouged out the eyes of his wife, an assistant professor at Dhaka University, apparently because he could not stand her pursuing higher studies at a Canadian University.

Blasphemy in Quran and Hadith
In Islam blasphemy means anyone who insults Islam or says anything against Prophet Muhammad should be punished or even put to death.
Many Muslim countries around the world like Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia etc... follow blasphemy law.
Muslim apologists quote some verses from Quran and say Quran does not command to punish people who insult Islam which can be proved incorrect.

Once the Prophet was offering prayers at the Ka'ba. Abu Jahl was sitting with some of his companions. One of them said to the others, "Who amongst you will bring the abdominal contents (intestines, etc.) of a camel of Bani so and so and put it on the back of Muhammad, when he prostrates?" The most unfortunate of them got up and brought it. He waited till the Prophet prostrated and then placed it on his back between his shoulders. I was watching but could not do any thing. I wish I had some people with me to hold out against them. They started laughing and falling on one another. Allah's Apostle was in prostration and he did not lift his head up till Fatima (Prophet's daughter) came and threw that (camel's abdominal contents) away from his back. He raised his head and said thrice, "O Allah! Punish Quraish." So it was hard for Abu Jahl and his companions when the Prophet invoked Allah against them as they had a conviction that the prayers and invocations were accepted in this city (Mecca). The Prophet said, "O Allah! Punish Abu Jahl, 'Utba bin Rabi'a, Shaiba bin Rabi'a, Al-Walid bin 'Utba, Umaiya bin Khalaf, and 'Uqba bin Al Mu'it (and he mentioned the seventh whose name I cannot recall). By Allah in Whose Hands my life is, I saw the dead bodies of those persons who were counted by Allah's Apostle in the Qalib (one of the wells) of Badr.

Murder of Ka'b bin al-Ashraf, a Jewish poet who wrote verses about Muslims that Muhammad found insulting. He asked his followers, 'Who will rid me of this man?' and several volunteered. al-Ashraf was stabbed to death while fighting for his life.

Allah's Apostle said, "Who is willing to kill Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?" Thereupon Muhammad bin Maslama got up saying, "O Allah's Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?" The Prophet said, "Yes," Muhammad bin Maslama said, "Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab). "The Prophet said, "You may say it." Then Muhammad bin Maslama went to Kab and said, "That man (i.e. Muhammad demands Sadaqa (i.e. Zakat) from us, and he has troubled us, and I have come to borrow something from you." On that, Kab said, "By Allah, you will get tired of him!" Muhammad bin Maslama said, "Now as we have followed him, we do not want to leave him unless and until we see how his end is going to be. Now we want you to lend us a camel load or two of food." (Some difference between narrators about a camel load or two.) Kab said, "Yes, (I will lend you), but you should mortgage something to me." Muhammad bin Mas-lama and his companion said, "What do you want?" Ka'b replied, "Mortgage your women to me." They said, "How can we mortgage our women to you and you are the most handsome of the 'Arabs?" Ka'b said, "Then mortgage your sons to me." They said, "How can we mortgage our sons to you? Later they would be abused by the people's saying that so-and-so has been mortgaged for a camel load of food. That would cause us great disgrace, but we will mortgage our arms to you." Muhammad bin Maslama and his companion promised Kab that Muhammad would return to him. He came to Kab at night along with Kab's foster brother, Abu Na'ila. Kab invited them to come into his fort, and then he went down to them. His wife asked him, "Where are you going at this time?" Kab replied, "None but Muhammad bin Maslama and my (foster) brother Abu Na'ila have come." His wife said, "I hear a voice as if dropping blood is from him, Ka'b said. "They are none but my brother Muhammad bin Maslama and my foster brother Abu Naila. A generous man should respond to a call at night even if invited to be killed." Muhammad bin Maslama went with two men. (Some narrators mention the men as 'Abu bin Jabr. Al Harith bin Aus and Abbad bin Bishr). So Muhammad bin Maslama went in together with two men, and sail to them, "When Ka'b comes, I will touch his hair and smell it, and when you see that I have got hold of his head, strip him. I will let you smell his head." Kab bin Al-Ashraf came down to them wrapped in his clothes, and diffusing perfume. Muhammad bin Maslama said. " have never smelt a better scent than this. Ka'b replied. "I have got the best 'Arab women who know how to use the high class of perfume." Muhammad bin Maslama requested Ka'b "Will you allow me to smell your head?" Ka'b said, "Yes." Muhammad smelt it and made his companions smell it as well. Then he requested Ka'b again, "Will you let me (smell your head)?" Ka'b said, "Yes." When Muhammad got a strong hold of him, he said (to his companions), "Get at him!" So they killed him and went to the Prophet and informed him. (Abu Rafi) was killed after Ka'b bin Al-Ashraf."

Once the Prophet was offering prayers at the Ka'ba. Abu Jahl was sitting with some of his companions. One of them said to the others, "Who amongst you will bring the abdominal contents (intestines, etc.) of a camel of Bani so and so and put it on the back of Muhammad, when he prostrates?" The most unfortunate of them got up and brought it. He waited till the Prophet prostrated and then placed it on his back between his shoulders. I was watching but could not do any thing. I wish I had some people with me to hold out against them. They started laughing and falling on one another. Allah's Apostle was in prostration and he did not lift his head up till Fatima (Prophet's daughter) came and threw that (camel's abdominal contents) away from his back. He raised his head and said thrice, "O Allah! Punish Quraish." So it was hard for Abu Jahl and his companions when the Prophet invoked Allah against them as they had a conviction that the prayers and invocations were accepted in this city (Mecca). The Prophet said, "O Allah! Punish Abu Jahl, 'Utba bin Rabi'a, Shaiba bin Rabi'a, Al-Walid bin 'Utba, Umaiya bin Khalaf, and 'Uqba bin Al Mu'it (and he mentioned the seventh whose name I cannot recall). By Allah in Whose Hands my life is, I saw the dead bodies of those persons who were counted by Allah's Apostle in the Qalib (one of the wells) of Badr.

Murder of Ka'b bin al-Ashraf, a Jewish poet who wrote verses about Muslims that Muhammad found insulting. He asked his followers, 'Who will rid me of this man?' and several volunteered. al-Ashraf was stabbed to death while fighting for his life.

Now we want you to lend us a camel load or two of food." (Some difference between narrators about a camel load or two.) Kab said, "Yes, (I will lend you), but you should mortgage something to me." Teen raped in Jammu and Kashmir
A youth was arrested from Jammu and Kashmir for raping a Class X girl, filming the crime and posting it on the internet.
"We have arrested Sajjad Khan from Thanamandi area for rape and circulation of pornographic material,"

Muslim man poses as hubby for 'rape' victim's abortion, arrested

Three members of a family were booked on Tuesday for allegedly raping a
21-year-old female relative for over a year at their home in Dombivli.
The Manpada police booked Shafiq Shaikh, his son Aayfesham and wife Ashraful. The trio are currently on the run
One of their relatives, Niyaz Khan, has been nabbed for his involvement in the crime.
The woman, who is an Uttar Pradesh native, approcahed the police saying that the family, inlcuding Khan, had forced her to undergo an abortion.
After the accused learned of the victim's pregnancy they contacted Khan, who posed as the victim's husband for the abortion carried out at a Mulund hospital. Aabasaheb Patil, assistant police inspector at the Manpada police station said, "We have registered a case of rape and cheating and have arrested Khan."
