Satanic Verses in Quran Muhammad and Satan

Many Muslims accuse non-Muslims that the satanic verses event is something made up by non-Muslims which is totally incorrect. Satanic verses event is mentioned in  hadith and quran.
The event is recorded in earliest Islamic sources available. It is documented by  the four early biographical writes of Muhammad's life - Ibn Isaq's Sirat Rasulullah,  Wakidi, Ibn S'ad's Kitab Al-Tabaqat Al-Kabir and Tabari's history.

Several Islamic scholars like Ibn Abi Hatim, Ibn al-Mundhir, Ibn Mardauyah, Musa ibn 'Uqba and Abu Ma'shar support the satanic verses event actually occurred.

Ibn Hajar believed in satanic verses and he said - "As we have mentioned above, three of its chain of narrators satisfy the conditions requisite for an authentic report."

The first use of the expression 'Satanic Verses' is attributed to Sir William Muir (1858).

What are satanic Verses ?
Islam doesn't allow idol worshipping. According to islam only Allah is true and all other gods are false. People following other gods except allah and those who do idol worshipping are known as pagans.
Satanic verses are a small number of pagan verses revealed by Muhammad which were against Islamic principle of idol worshipping and worshipping anyone other than allah.

Why were those verses against Islamic principles and beliefs ?
At that time a tribe known as Quraysh lived in Mecca. Quraysh were pagans they worshiped other gods and were idol worshippers. They worshiped goddess al-Lat, goddess al-'Uzza and Manāt.
What Muhammad did was he acknowledged and approved these goddesses in Quran Surat An-Najm (surah 53)
Quran Surah 53 verse 19
So have you considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza?
Quran Surah 53 verse 20
And Manat, the third - the other one?
Quran Surah 53 verse 21
Is the male for you and for Him the female?
Quran Surah 53 verse 22
That, then, is an unjust division.

Muhammad acknowledged and approved pagan goddesses which were false according to Islam. Worshipping anyone other than Allah or doing idol worship is the biggest sin in Islam.
When the Quraysh (pagans) heard that Muhammad had approved that their goddesses are worthy of worship they were delighted by this.

Sahih Bukhari one of the most authentic Hadith also mentions this event.

Bukhari Volume 2, Book 19, Number 176 :
Narrated by 'Abdullah bin Masud
The Prophet recited Surat An-Najm (53) and prostrated while reciting it and all the people prostrated and a man amongst the people took a handful of stones or earth and raised it to his face and said, "This is sufficient for me. Later on I saw him killed as a Nobel ever. "

Bukhari Volume 2, Book 19, Number 177 :
Narrated by Ibn Abbas
The Prophet I prostrated while reciting An-Najm (Surah 53) and with him prostrated the Muslims, the pagans (the Quraysh), the jinns, and all human beings.

Muhammad recited Surat An-Najm (surah 53) and with him all Muslims, Quraysh and Jinns prostrated (submitted or bent down) to pagan goddesses.

Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasul Allah, pp. 165-166
Have you thought of al-Lat and al-Uzza and Manat, the third ... these are the exalted Gharaniq (a high flying bird) whose intercession is approved.

Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasul Allah, p. 166
When (the) Quraysh heard that, they were delighted and greatly pleased at the way in which he spoke of their gods and they listened to him ... Then the people dispersed and Quraysh went out, delighted at what had been said about their gods, saying, "Muhammad has spoken of our gods in splendid fashion".

Ibn Sa'd, Kitab Al-Tabaqat Al-Kabir, vol. 1, p. 237
The Apostle of Allah, may Allah bless him, repeated them (the verses), and he went on reciting the whole of surah (53) and then fell in prostration, and the people (the Quraysh) fell in prostration with him.

Later Angel Gabriel came to Muhammad and said:
Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasul Allah, p. 166
What have you done, Muhammad? You have read to these people something I did not bring you from Allah and you have said what He did not say to you."

Then Muhammad confessed: I ascribed to Allah, what He had not said. (Ibn Sa'd, Kitab Al-Tabaqat Al-Kabir, vol. 1, p. 237) I have fabricated things against God and have imputed to Him words which He has not spoken. (Al-Tabari, The History of Al-Tabari, vol. vi, p. 111)

Later Muhammad realized that he had done a mistake by revealing pagan verses which were against Islam. Muhammad said that Satan was controlling him and those verses were not from Allah but from satan. So satan was able to deceive Muhammad and Muhammad recited Satan's words.

Muhammad revealed this verse which means- Satan tries to Misguide Messenger of Allah to speak his words. There has not been a messenger before whom Satan has not tried to misguide or deceive. But Allah abolishes what Satan throws in. So the authentic satanic verses were cancelled and replaced by what you see today in surah 53 verse 21 and 22.
And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allah makes precise His verses. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

Satan was able to control Muhammad thats why Muhammad recited Satan's words.
The Question is how many other verses in Quran were actually revealed to Muhammad by Satan and not Angel Gabriel ?

But in Quran Surah 15 Allah clearly says Satan cannot control or misguide his true servants and Muhammad was the most beloved servant of Allah according to Muslims.

In Quran Surah 15:39
Iblees (Satan) Says I will misguide all humans.
[Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all
http://quran.com/15/39

Quran Surah 15 verse 42
Allah says- Satan will have no authority over my servants.
Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.
http://quran.com/15/42

So Satan cannot control or deceive Allah's true servants according to Quran but how was Satan able to deceive Muhammad.
It means either Muhammad was  a liar or a messenger of satan.

The fact is that Muhammad was liar in moment of weakness Muhammad was willing to compromise his personal beliefs.
Whenever he needed something he revealed some verses to justify his actions.
Muhammad's wife Aisha also said "I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires."
Volume 6, Book 60, Number 311 :
Narrated by Aisha
I used to look down upon those ladies who had given themselves to Allah's Apostle and I used to say, "Can a lady give herself (to a man)?" But when Allah revealed: "You (O Muhammad) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive any of them whom you will; and there is no blame on you if you invite one whose turn you have set aside (temporarily).' (33.51) I said (to the Prophet), "I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires."
http://www.sahih-bukhari.com/Pages/Bukhari_6_60.php

Muhammad need more than 4 wives he revealed a verse in the quran to justify it, Muhammad wanted to marry his cousin and daughter in law Zaynab bint Jahsh Muhammad reveals a verse to justify it.
Muhammad wanted to cancel the satanic verses he reveals Quran surah 22 verse 52 - Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in.
Aisha was correct when she said "I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires"
Muhammad was a false prophet Christians and Jews consider him false so do other non-Muslims for obvious reasons.

Muslims get angry when someone asks them about satanic verses.
Here is an example from an Islamic forum lol
