So many bad things happen everyday in Islamic world that I don't have the time to post every single one of them but I try to highlight only a few.
Sudanese women Meriam Yehya Ibrahim faces a death sentence for apostasy(leaving Islam). She is pregnant and the Islamic court said that she may have her baby before she is hanged.
An Islamic court in the Sudanese capital has said that a pregnant woman sentenced to hang for apostasy after she married a Christian man will be allowed to give birth before she is executed.
Ibrahim was convicted on May 11 of apostasy and given three days to recant her faith or face a gruesome sentence. She will be flogged – 100 lashes – and hanged, the report added.
Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, 27, who was born to a Muslim father but brought up a Christian by her mother, was convicted on Sunday in Khartoum and given three days to recant her faith or face a possible death sentence.
“We gave you three days to recant but you insist on not returning to Islam. I sentence you to be hanged,” Judge Abbas Mohammed Al-Khalifa told Mrs Ibrahim, addressing her by her father’s name, Adraf Al-Hadi Mohammed Abdullah.
Mrs Ibrahim also faces a sentence of flogging for adultery on the grounds that her marriage to a Christian man from South Sudan is considered void under Islamic law. She will be given 100 lashes. Because her father was Muslim, she was considered by the court to be the same.
Mrs Ibrahim told the judge: “I am a Christian and I never committed apostasy.”

Now many Muslims would say to the non-Muslims to deceive them that its against Islam but Islamic countries and Muslims are very strict they do not follow anything which is not written in their books.

it, saying, 'Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I would have killed them according
to the statement of Allah's Messenger (ï·º), 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"

Ibn 'Abbas (RAA) narrated that:
The Messenger of Allah said, “He who changes his religion (i.e. apostates) kill him.” Related by Al-Bukhari.

Mu’adh bin Jabal (RAA) narrated -
concerning a man who embraced Islam and then turned to Judaism (i.e. apostated), ‘I shall not sit down until he is killed. That is the Command of Allah and His Messenger, and he gave an order that he must be killed and so he was.’ Agreed upon. In a version by Abu Dawud, ‘He was given a chance to repent and retrun to Islam but he refused.’

So there are many Hadiths which mentions it and Islamic countries follow this rule even today. The punishment for leaving Islam is death. Dr. Zakir Naik a muslim scholar himself said that it is a treason for a Muslim to leave Islam, those who do it are considered traitors and given death punishment.
